case management nursing.....

I am currently employed as a dialysis nurse, but am looking to spread my horizons, truthfully, I think I'm burned out after 8 years....I have been looking into the benefits of case management nursing w/i the insurance communities, I have not had any luck locating such a position in my area but am searching still. Just wondering if anyone out there could give me any insight as to the pros and cons of such a position....thanks
